L30: music – Top 10 Old School Hip Hop/R&B Love Songs
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, help me create the first ever, lifestyle30 magazine “Top 10 Old School Hip Hop/R&B Love Songs” List. Here are a few of my favorites that I think should be on top. Please feel free to add your own:
1. You’re All I Need – Method Man/Mary J. Blige
2. Brown Sugar – D’Angelo
3. Mi Cheri Amour – Stevie Wonder
4. After The Dance – Marvin Gaye
5. You Make Me Better – Fabulous featuring Neyo (it’s not old school but it’s a great hip hop love song for modern times)
6. Natural Woman – Aretha Franklin
7. Brown Skin – India.Arie (again, not that old but a great homage to loving the skin you and your loved one are in)
8. Seduction – Usher (I’m drifting further away from the old school, but I love this song)
9. Computer Love – Roger & Zapp
10. Crush – LLCoolJ featuring Boyz II Men

9. My, My, My – Johnny Gill
10.Don’t Wait for Me – Morris Day (Honorable mention “Girl”; Think I’m the only one who heard that by him but you need to check it out.)
