Valentine’s Day is on Sunday, February 14, and for those of you who have big plans for this weekend, whether it’s a big date or as the fabulous single person that you are, here are lifestyle30 magazine’s “Recommended Valentine’s Date Prep Songs”.

First, you have to make sure you look good, take a shower (that’s always a must – best not to be musty), put on your best gear, fellas get a fresh haircut, and make sure you freshen your breath. The song that will help you get there is “So Fresh, So Clean” by Outkast:

Next, make sure the person you are spending time with on this special day (even if it’s by yourself) is someone that makes you smile. If not, you probably, a) need to focus more on

This is but one formula for a perfect Valentine’s evening. If it doesn’t work or if you don’t have a date, that’s okay too. Being single, is sometimes more of a blessing than it might seem. You may be protected from the crazies and that’s a good thing.  Get yourself right first, before you can possibly think someone else will get you right.  Just remember it’s not about having a date or sex, but about loving yourself first, then another person.
