L30: music – Recommended Valentine’s Day Prep Songs
Valentine’s Day is on Sunday, February 14, and for those of you who have big plans for this weekend, whether it’s a big date or as the fabulous single person that you are, here are lifestyle30 magazine’s “Recommended Valentine’s Date Prep Songs”.
First, you have to make sure you look good, take a shower (that’s always a must – best not to be musty), put on your best gear, fellas get a fresh haircut, and make sure you freshen your breath. The song that will help you get there is “So Fresh, So Clean” by Outkast:

Next, make sure the person you are spending time with on this special day (even if it’s by yourself) is someone that makes you smile. If not, you probably, a) need to focus more on
yourself first to make sure the love is there, or b) the other person you are prepping for is a waste of time. Take a listen to the soul crooner Al Green’s classic, “Love & Happiness“, to test this theory. So, if you have a big cheesy grin when you think of yourself or your date
especially when you hear this song, then you hit the nail on th head:

Next, if you do have a date, to get you both in the mood, there is only one velvety voice that can do that and that’s the master himself, Barry White with “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love Babe“. Enough Said:

And lastly, once you have set the mood, and you are both feeling each other, make sure you get permission, consent, ask all of the right questions, etc. (No date rape please and of course SAFE SEX; you don’t want to leave anyone with any regrets in the morning) and then hit ‘em with Floetry’s sexy single, “Say Yes“:

This is but one formula for a perfect Valentine’s evening. If it doesn’t work or if you don’t have a date, that’s okay too. Being single, is sometimes more of a blessing than it might seem. You may be protected from the crazies and that’s a good thing. Get yourself right first, before you can possibly think someone else will get you right. Just remember it’s not about having a date or sex, but about loving yourself first, then another person. Realize that a relationship won’t work if you don’t love yourself and only you can do that. With that, you have to find and recognize “The God In You” by Mary Mary.

Have a great day everyone!
